The Law comes to Tannoch

Hello, Hello, Hello.

June 2008, was a busy month for Tannoch Stables, when Strathclyde Police Mounted Branch, decided to relocate to Tannoch from Glasgow city centre. Twenty one horses, named after towns and villages in Strathclyde, were relocated here.  The availability of the large indoor arena, the three outdoor arenas and the horse walker were instrumental in the decision making to move to Tannoch. The horses are involved in general policing duties including football matches, public order, marches and parade days, and school visits. It is a pleasure to have such well behaved horses at the stables.
