The Law comes to Tannoch
Hello, Hello, Hello.
June, this year, was a busy month for Tannoch
Stables, when Strathclyde Police
Mounted Branch, decided to relocate to Tannoch
from Glasgow city centre.
Twenty one horses, named after towns and villages
in Strathclyde, were relocated here. The availability
of the large indoor arena, the three outdoor arenas
and the horse walker were instrumental in the decision
making to move to Tannoch.
The horses are involved in general policing duties
including football matches, public order, marches
and parade days, and school visits.
It is
a pleasure to have such well behaved horses at
the stables

Dressage Competition
25th July 2008
Prelim 7 and Novice 21. Both
classes were won by Gillian Hay on Sea Nymph. There
was a good turnout and many thanks to Linda Wallace
for judging the classes, Jean McKail and Joyce
MacKenzie for keeping score, and TS Riding club
for hosting the event. We look forward to the 'olympics'
